Signs of spring as daffodils bloom at Daventry school
Green-fingered children in Daventry are delighted with their spring blooms.
Daffodil bulbs were gifted to Monksmoor Park CE Primary School last year when Daventry Mayor Lynne Taylor visited staff and children.
Eager nursery youngsters planted the bulbs in the autumn and were delighted to see their efforts come to fruition.
Cllr Taylor said the daffodils look lovely.
She said: "I loved my visit and look forward to popping in again soon."
